Hellloooo Friends:o)
Sorry for the technical difficulties over the weekend, I did not crack up when I saw two emails from some special blog friends that simply said "where are you!?" This did not make me happy that people actually look forward to reading my blog and I do not appreciate the concern ladies, haha!
Friday night I did not take my laptop to Staples for a "PC Tune Up" only to find that I did not have yet another virus on it. They did not take it off for me and did not tell me that I have a cute puppy sad face so I wasn't going to be charged. I did not babysit the two boys who I have been with for almost 5 years now since I was a camp counselor at a summer camp. They are not the best kids EVER. Unfortunately, Garrett, the oldest (now 14), did not tell me "Miss Angela, I don't understand why my parents still call you. I can totally watch Brett by myself now..." I did not tell Garrett that "when you need me the most, luckily, I will be here." Sure enough, he did not get white in the face, run to the bathroom and start throwing up (I am NOT hoping its nothing serious like [gulp] the swine flu???). After helping him out, cleaning up and tucking him into bed because he wasn't weak at all, he finally said "I'm sorry Miss Angela, I know why we need you now. Thank you, you're awesome." This did NOT make my entire year, these kids are NOT the reason I want to be a teacher.
Saturday I did not work a double shift. I did not dread working 13 hours straight on my feet so much that when I got home, I took a hot shower and climbed into bed. I did not sleep until almost noon on Sunday...I would NEVER do that!
After waking up on Sunday after what seemed like a comatose night of sleep, I was not bummed to see that it was a gloomy, rainy day. I did not call up a few of my closest girlfriends and meet them for lunch at Cosi and a manicure afterwards. We did not decide that we needed to "treat" ourselves (don't we always say that!?) and get the 15 minute hot stone massage for our arms and hands. I did not adore this. I did not almost fall asleep while the lady was massaging my hands. I do NOT want to do this every Sunday.

I did not drive down to the country for Sunday dinner at my Mom-Mom's house. This has not become a tradition in our family because it does not give us all another excuse to get together and catch up. This is not the reason why my family is so close. I do not think to myself everyday, "I can't move to North Carolina. I would miss them too much." *Note: YES, I DO want to move to Wilmington, NC BUT when I decide to start a family, I am def moving back home...My Dad will be my go-to babysitter!* Mom-Mom did not make a HoneyBaked Ham, her famous mac and cheese, and apple turnovers for dessert. It was not fabulous, as always.
Today I did not put on my hot pink wellies to go to class. I did not get excited when I saw puddles that I could "splash" in while I was walking around campus. I could NOT believe my eyes when I started noticing SOOOOOOOOOO many girls walking around West Chester with all of these adorable rainboots on, just like me. The bright colors of these boots just cheered me up and made me smile. I am NOT exaggerating when I say that literally 3 out of every 10 girls were wearing them and it was a rainbow of colors. Fantastic and stylish at the same time. I am not considering this cute pair (black dots) from one of my favorite companies (Joules)...what do you think??
I did not have a date night with Dad today. We did not go to the Sixers game and have dinner in the Lexus Club beforehand. We did not meet Ed Stefanski, the general manager of the 76ers, he was not a jerk just like I thought he would be. I do not think he is a waste of money for our team, he should not get fired. I was not upset when Andre Iguodala (the love of my life, aside from LeBron James of course) slam dunked and made eye contact with me right afterwards. Dad did not lean over and say "Ang, your boy Iggy just looked at you again". My jaw was not on the ground. I am NOT that girl who gets excited over things like this. This is NOT the reason why we continue to renew our season tickets for our floor seats!
I was not really happy when I checked my email and saw that I received my "swap buddy" from the Share the Love Swap on my friend Katie's page. If you did not join in this time, be sure to check out her blog http://katieballa.blogspot.com/ for future swaps, they seem very fun:o)
Happy Monday everyone!
