Surprise Weekend!

Nick and I have been traveling a lot lately, mostly to the beach to spend time with my family. We wanted to get away, just the two of us, so we decided to spend the weekend in Atlantic City to have a little fun:o)

Nick knows I hate surprises, however, he managed to make a perfect weekend very special.

We had breakfast at the Pirate's Den, my favorite little restaurant in Brigantine (where my Mom's beach house is) and sat watching the waves on the beach for a bit.
Nick took me to the Tropicana for couples massages in the Blue Mercury Spa.
*Note, if you have not been to this spa, you need to do so if you are ever in Atlantic City!*

After our treatments we stayed in the couples relaxation room then headed to the steam rooms and showers. A GREAT way to start our day!

I wanted to shop at the Pier at Caesars Palace
(mostly because they have a Juicy store, Tiffanys, Louis Vuitton, Apple AND a candy store all in one place!)

but also to see the Water Show that they do every hour. It's really fun to watch.
...and because the Hangover is one of my favorite movies of all time, I HAD to do this...
"Does Caesar live here? I didn't think so, I was just asking...Do you have pay phones?"
*No I didn't ACTUALLY say this to anyone who worked there but I saw this statue and started cracking up*

Then it was time to get all dolled up for a fun night out:o)

 Dinner at Rainforest Cafe

Drinks at the Beach Bar at Trump Plaza
(Nick completely focused on his Captain and Cokes lol)

Down the boardwalk we went to the House of Blues to see one of our very favorite groups in concert!!!!!

 Rebelution
(beach, reggae, laid back style music-which is why we love them)

An incredible show, AWESOME music with my AMAZING boyfriend.

To end the night, we decided to play our hand at luck: Nick played Let it Ride and did very very well at winning.
I was determined to play the Sex and the City slots (my fav show)...and didn't have any luck at all:o)
I could not have asked for a more romantic getaway weekend!

  1. Yay!!! Can I borrow your boyfriend once?! haha.
At least you got a decent pic of that water play/fountain thing at Ceasar's. I didn't. We tried so hard, I gave up after a while. And isn't that candy store awesome?! Shopping in general. Yes!!!

glad you had a perfect weekend girl.
