My new cooking blog!

Hi Friends, It's been awhile, I know...

Since I moved to VA, I've taken up an obsession with cooking (you can follow most of what I do through twitter-search for me @akolachny) and I can honestly say its one of my favorite hobbies now! When I'm out shopping I find myself always looking for a new tool or something to adorn my kitchen with!

I've been asked by several people to start a blog to keep up with my progress with cooking complete with recipes, pics, tips, neat ideas, etc. So I thought, why not!? I think this is a really exciting idea so I want to give it a shot:o)

I am looking for ideas on my blog layout. I want a really killer design that will grab my viewers attention! Do you have an idea to help me with? Any tips to go about designing my own? I'd like to get this up and running within the next few days.

A quick heads up, to promote my blog, I am offering to do a giveaway through one of your blogs! I am doing two things:

1) a starbucks gift card (obviously-I am in love with my new job)

and

2) one of my favorite cookbooks that I use religiously, I have two copies so I'd like to give one away!
