100 Post Mark

Well friends, I have blogged 100 times.

It was only a few months ago that I started my blog after my best friend Jenna convinced me that I need to do so, and I really enjoy it.

My favorite part is catching up with you, my newly acquired friends, and learning all about you & your lives:o)

So, in honor of my 100 blogs, I will tell you 50 things about me (I don't want to go on and on up to 100). Here it goes...

1. I am the oldest of three kids, we are all 8 years apart. I have a brother and a sister which completes me.

2. I have a very big family, that I am proud to say means the world to me. Some Polish, some Irish, some Italian, some Czech, etc. but we make up a fun group.

3. I have three dogs, Trainer and Bentley (Mom's) and Princess (Dad's).

4. I cheered for 13 years of my life and miss it everyday. I still watch the cheerleading competitions on ESPN in hopes of becoming a coach someday. And just in case you were wondering, YES it is a sport:o)

5. I am studying to be a high school United States History teacher, however, my ultimate goal is to be a college professor someday.

6. I hate snow. I love sand. Therefore I prefer summer over winter anyday.

7. My favorite place on Earth is Wilmington, North Carolina. I hope to be able to live there in a few years. I am convinced that Wrightsville Beach is the real Heaven on Earth.

8. I hated social networking, but now I'm really starting to embrace it. I am on Facebook, Twitter and Blogger.

9. I don't watch TV except for a few of my favorite shows (24, Project Runway and Keeping Up with the Kardashians), you'll more than likely find me with my head in a book.

10. Which leads me to my next fact, I LOVE to read. I've been reading since the age of 2. The very first book I read was Charlotte's Web. A classic.

11. I lost two best friends in my life. My Pop-Pop and my friend Brooke. Both died at a very young age (55 and 19) and I take comfort in knowing that they are my very own guardian angels. xo

12. I love to shop. As a matter of fact, I have to limit myself to Target trips only once a week. Sad. I know. Anthropologie, JCrew, Forever 21, American Eagle, Target and the Gap are my favorites.

13. Jeans are my favorite thing to wear. I think everyone would agree with me when I say that once you find the perfect pair of jeans, you buy them in every color imaginable. You feel like a million bucks in them.

14. I have an obsession with shoes and handbags. My family laughs when I come home with a bag from shopping and they always say "let me guess, shoes? purse?" and I say "both!"

15. I like chocolate ice cream. Just plain old chocolate. Nothing fancy.

16. 16 is my lucky number. No specific reason, I just found it to be lucky.

17. I fell in love and fell out of it 7 years later. Now that its been almost 2 years since the split, I'm finally ready to move on. Thank heavens!

18. My number one favorite movie of ALL time is Casablanca. My favorite movie right now is Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs:o)

19. My favorite color is pink. My two favorite colors together are pink and green. (I'm a preppy girl!)

20. I have no idea how to play chess.

21. My favorite flowers are daisies (the white ones with the little yellow dots).

22. I hate red roses.

23. I am not organized. At all. But I seem to know where everything is (most of the time, lol).

24. I am not good in math but I've always done really well with writing.

25. I believe that diamonds are a girl's best friends... but so are pearls:o)

26. I live for Philadelphia sports. If you continue to read my blog, you'll know why:o)

27. I am learning how to cook, thanks in large part to my Mom-Mom. It's so much fun!

28. I love dogs. I hate cats.

29. I learned how to rollerblade when I was little; I used to be really good at it. Now? Not so much, I can't roller skate to save my life. LoL!

30. I just learned how to play golf this past summer. Let me rephrase that, I learned how to make contact with the ball. I haven't learned the actual game...yet:o)

31.  I loveeeeeeeee Starbucks coffee. A Venti Pike Place brew in the afternoon has my name written all over it.

32. When I'm watching a movie at home, I like to light candles and snuggle up under a blanket.

33. I was born at 3:33 in the morning on October 9th. 333 has become a VERY significant number in my family.

34. I cried when Anna Nicole Smith died. I really believe that she just wanted the world to love her.

35. If I could look like anyone in the world it would be Jennifer Aniston or Catherine Zeta Jones.

36. Princess Diana was and always will be my role model.

37. I get a great big smile on my face when I see robins in the springtime, they bring hope.

38. When I lay in bed and try to relax, I like to close my eyes and listen for the ocean.

39. I get migraines. a lot. I still haven't been able to figure out why I get them so much.

40. I love to smile.

41. I love to laugh.

42. I prefer red wine over white.

43. I do not eat eggs, or drink milk.

44. I hate onions, mushrooms and brussel sprouts.

45. I am a picky eater (can you tell!?) but I am slowly growing out of it.

46. I prefer talking on the phone as opposed to emailing but I know that in light of everyone's crazy & busy lives, sometimes that has to be done.

47. I tend to be semi-neurotic when I'm writing a paper for school. I'm one of those people who won't stop until I know its the absolute best that I could have done.

48. I was always scared of the Easter bunny, I didn't like the idea of this giant rabbit coming into my house. I stopped believing in Santa Claus at age 9.

49. I hate clowns. They scare me to death.

50. This weekend I will be making a trip down to Washington DC. I reconnected with Nick, a great guy that I have been friends with since we were (16!?), and I couldn't be happier. He is so wonderful and goes out of his way, each and everyday, to let me know how much he cares for me. What more can a girl ask for??
