My Mom-Mom gave me my very first sewing machine for my birthday last October and when I moved in with Nick I decided I really needed to buckle down and learn how to use it. I am so glad I did, sewing is my favorite hobby! I love learning lots of new crafts to make.
Since I started making different creations (many of which I wear to work), I had people asking if I sold any of it. I didn't at first but then I thought, why not? If I can get paid for something I love to do then I'll keep up with it!
I started up love nest designs on etsy, have a peek! I just recently made some more rosette necklaces, zipped pouches in several different sizes and some new tote bags including a quilted fabric tote so be sure to check back soon to see the new additions:o)
Here are some of my favorites:

I have to comment ASAP. First of all, I already know we have the same taste in designs/prints (so needless to say, I'm loving your stuff and fabric choices!) I have to share one of my FAV stores in Soho. They have great stuff, and you can order some sometimes hard to find designer fabrics from here. It's called Purl Soho, check it out:
