Friday night I did not stay in and watch the Hangover with my friend Nicole. The weather was not awful outside, the wind was not so cold it froze your bones (nope, not in PA!) I do not LOVE LOVE LOVE that movie so much that I secretly wish I find a tiger and Mike Tyson in my hotel room in Vegas if I ever do go there! (lol, nope, not me! I would never get that crazy!)
I did not rush over to Target to buy new sheets for my bed when I saw they were having a 50% off sale in their bedding department. I did not snag a set of espresso brown bamboo sheets that are the softest things I've ever slept on (well, next to egyptian cotton).
I was not extremely bummed when I left work Saturday night to see the snow on the ground. It was just enough to make the roads messy, and eventually icy, therefore I could not make it out to celebrate my friend Brents bday with his sister Laura. I did not feel like a terrible friend, but that's why I love my girlfriends (they always understand me).
I did not leave work early on Sunday; I did not go home and crawl onto my couch because I wasn't feeling good at all. I did not fall asleep watching the Grammys because quite frankly, I was not bored (Gaga was the only highlight for me). I woke up just in time to see the MJ tribute which had me in tears, I still can't believe a man that iconic is gone. Unreal.
I was not happy to see the sun shine a bit today. I did not smile at a text I got this morning that said, "I was listening to the Beatles song 'Here Comes the Sun' in my car, saw the sun coming up and thought of you". It's not things like this that keep me going on a Monday, especially when I'm not feeling well.
I am not excited to watch 24 tonight, however, I do need to catch up on last weeks episode that I missed! I do not think Jack Bauer is hot, I do not think Freddie Prinze Jr makes a great cop:o)
I am not awaiting my Valentines swap packages arrival to it's destination in Michigan! I do not hope my swap buddy loves her box-o-goodies that I sent her!
I do not hope you all have a great Monday (does anyone have a case of the Mondays today??); I do not hope the weather is warmer in your little corner of the Earth than it is here! Brrrrr!

ReplyDeleteI sent you an email earlier today because I was having a hard time posting but now.....well, now I can do it!
I GOT MY PACKAGE in the mail! It was so exciting. But I've decided not to open it until it's closer to Valentine's Day. And I must also tell you that I'm not as on the ball as you are and plan to get my package in the mail tomorrow. I'll let you know so you can anticipate it!
