At the end of each day, I sit down at my desk, turn on my laptop and blog. Blogging, by definition, is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. To me it is much more than that.
I find myself brainstorming many ideas throughout my day about many different things. I hear songs on the radio and the lyrics reach out to me in different ways, depending on the kind of day that I'm experiencing or what mood I'm in. I listen to people debate different issues in my classes and professors, in turn, challenge us to think along many different lengths about many different topics. For me, blogging is a way to jot down what's on my mind. I am able to reflect on what happened on any given day. I am able to express gratitude for things I am most grateful for. The possibilities are endless. I do enjoy blogging very much and I do appreciate the feedback that I receive from family members, friends, coworkers and fellow students. Some of you send me feedback on my blog, others choose to tune in when possible and send me thoughts through emails. In every way imaginable, I thank you.
This blog is not only for me, but for you as well.
In some ways I am very outgoing, friendly and inviting. In others I am more reserved, private and quiet. So for those of you who don't know the more personal side of me, I invite you to stay tuned and continue to learn:o)
Today I received the following message from a very dear friend of mine, its because of these messages from you all that I continue to blog each day.
"I got the link you sent me to your blog and I've been reading it. Besides the fact that I think you could kick ass writing for a magazine, you really are a genuinely good person...its actually inspiring to me...I'm used to knowing people who are all negative and after reading this I feel sunny and uplifted again...I'm glad you sent it to me, you def have some wise words...it was amazing,"
I do believe this--
Flattery, as praise, is the best form of a compliment.Thank you.
