Thank God It's FINALLY Friday!

I went to bed at 4:25 am last night due to my increasing obsession with Skype and my lack of concentration towards my schoolwork. However I did wake up this morning with a big smile on my face because IT'S FRIDAYYY!!! Weekends are not typical for me only because they are the busiest parts of my week. I work double shifts on Saturdays and Sundays and try to get myself caught up on way too many to-do lists.

I just recently noticed that I have a pretty strange habit of making way too many to-do lists. I have post-it notes, index cards, notecards filled with numbers and tasks of things that I feel I must complete every single day. My days are always on the run and I've convinced myself that they will keep me on track.

This weekend will be filled with family time, which you may be bored of hearing it, but I can't get enough of my family. They have become such a constant rock in my life that I just always feel the need to surround myself with them. I must say too, I have such an amazing family, I am so blessed:o) My grandparents (mom's parents) are coming up from North Carolina this weekend due to my great grandmother's (mom's grandmother) funeral Monday am. I absolutely hate funerals but it's always a chance to see people who you haven't seen for months, even years. My grandparents are basically like a second set of parents to me even though they are more like my close friends than anything else. I also get to see my cousins Michael and Jessica (I really miss Lauren but she works her butt off at the horse barn that she works at). They both work at my dad's restaurant and come up to visit and work every couple of weekends. I know during the week that I have to rest up because our Saturday nights will turn into Sunday mornings by the time we are done laughing, talking and catching up<3

I am determined NOT to get the Swine Flu. I have been taking vitamin c pills twice a day, getting lots of rest and using hand sanitizer so much that my hands just constantly smell of ethyl alcohol.

I had my first dose of reality today in regards to the changing seasons. I was grateful to see the sun shining but when pumping gas I had to sit in my car while it finished filling up to keep warm. This is one thing that I DESPISE about fall/winter. That nasty cold wind just needs to go away. I love seeing the colors on the trees but I've also noticed that there are more leaves on the ground now than on the branches of the trees. I broke out my navy blue wool peacoat today and I'm thinking its just about time for my pashmina scarf and gloves as well, but I won't push it:o)

I have been a reading maniac lately. As soon as I finish a book, I pick another one up. I read so much for school (especially as a history major) that I need goofy, sometimes pointless books to read to clear my head a little bit. If anyone has some good suggestions or favorites, please let me know!

I need to get back to my schoolwork but this lady behind me is typing so fast and so loud its almost becoming a distraction (I'm not annoyed). But hey, its 1:35 and in 3.5 hours it will be...HAPPY HOUR!!!!!!!! It's always 5 o'clock somewhere right??? Cheers! Happy Friday everyone:o)
