This weekend my laptop was unfortunate enough to attract wayyy too many viruses, worms, malware and spyware. The worst part of the news is that the viruses came from a file I downloaded at the library for a paper that I needed (who knew THAT could be bad). The good part of the news is that its being fixed and I'm not losing any of my information, papers, lesson plans, pictures and more that was saved on my hard drive. My friend Lauren's husband, David, is a tech-guy and works on computers for a living. Wow, do I feel lucky enough to have gotten a phone call from them asking if I needed help! Thank you guys!!!! I now have a portable hard drive and a top-of-the-line anti-virus protection program being installed on my laptop so that this never happens again. Thanksgiving is 2 days away and if I close my eyes, I can imagine sitting in Mom-Mom's dining room in her old country farmhouse with a giant turkey in front of us:o) I am so excited!
Tonight I am going to help my family get ready for this big day. I promised my cousins I would help them pick out a festive holiday dress to wear so we can take pictures altogether. What can I say? The Kolachny girls LOVE to get all dolled up:o)

glad to hear your computer is getting fixed!! My laptop crashed a couple time in college and it can be the most frustrating thing! ugh.. anyways hope you have a fabulous thanksgiving with your family! <3
